A first this year:
One of Turkey’s leading galleries in the field of contemporary jewellery, Galeri Santim, brings contemporary jewellery to this important international platform for the first time with its exhibition “Voices from Contemporary Jewellery”, presented as part of the 18th Istanbul Biennial.
The exhibition focuses on jewellery that goes beyond adornment, pieces that can be read as small-scale contemporary artworks through their original use of materials and conceptual approaches.
Bringing together works by more than 25 designers producing both locally and internationally, the selection presents thought-driven pieces that challenge and expand the boundaries of jewellery.
